Dream It: The Idea
It all begins with an idea. Garden Design begins with a concept that a client wants for their space. What is the purpose of your garden? What is the vision for the space? Is there’s a craving for a gathering space outdoors? Maybe it’s a complete conversion to a water-wise yard and restructuring plant selection so it’s more pollinator friendly. Or is it simply be that the outdoor living space needs a bit of a freshening-up? The first step is narrowing down the idea. Dream it.
Build It: The Concept Plan
After the purpose is set, the concept plan is built. This incorporates client interviews, site visits, photographs, measurements, a custom visual reference guide, and even soil testing if desired. Using this information, the idea is transformed into a plan on paper. Build it.
Grow It.
With a concrete plan, it’s time for installation. The final piece of a full design is collaboration with landscapers or DIY homeowners during installation.

Full Design
Fees: start at $2500 with letter of engagement
Client interview to determine purpose of garden
Site visits and assessments
Two hand-drawn concept plan(s) with two revisions
hardscape, plantings, lighting, and irrigation
Custom plant selection and ordering
Coordinate with client contractor, supervise installation

Mini-Design
Fees: start at $1200 with letter of engagement.
Client interview to determine purpose of garden
Site visits and assessments
Two (2) hand-drawn concept plan(s)
Custom plant selection

GARDEN ASSESSMENTS
Fee: $250
Verbal: 1 hr, in-person, on-site consultation utilizing Master Gardener and design expertise
Fee: $500
Written assessment: Documented in-person, on-site consultation utilizing Master Gardener design and expertise
A-LA-CARTE
Fee: $200/hr
Plant selection and installation supervision (your hardscape is done, now it’s time to plant)
Shopping, including travel time and delivery (if feasible)
Container design and planting
Vegetable garden design and plant pairing
Mini-design for smaller garden spaces (payment due at engagement)
Master Gardener services: pruning, transplanting, planting, soil testing, watering schedule
Native, water-wise, and fire-wise plant suggestion list based on site location and soil type
NOT OFFERED:
Electrical lighting or irrigation installation
Technical drawings (computer generated design, 3-D design)
